You left out the oart where The People you call Black people The Real American Indians not Native Americans built the Original Corn Palace and the Building was far more Advanced than the ines you see today! They even had huge X's in the design, what you call the Dixie Flag or symbol belonged to these dame people that Built it ! The Truth shall set you Free! Im Free
I usually love her music but this is a waste of musical energy.
It is great watching and hearing women musicians play together and support each others music.
Qualitat hi historia extraordinatia❤
Ihr habt es echt drauf!😊 jede von euch hat mich überrascht mit ihren inneren mit ihr selbst❤
Es ist für mich ein schönes Wochenende auch dank eurer Musik❤
My favorite country/folk singer and one of my favorite songs from her. She is the best! ❤️
Bigliest is my new favourite word. Hahah I could not love this more. ❤️
I wonder if they are all lesbians?
Does it matter? I wonder why the question. They are all talented musicians.
Totally not using MCC!!!
Thank you- great voices together!! ❤️🌈🙏🏽💕🎼🎖️🥰🌹

Oh, don't say "Farewell" Yall......you're soooo great!! Love, Love......
Is there a better video of this? This is very poor quality although if it's from a person who was standing in the crowd it is excellent in that realm. It's just poor quality 4 professional means
Did no one notice Holly Near "singing" in sign language?! She's fantastic! Always! Five "Voices!"
Sign language is so beautiful! And so necessary!
Holly Near is so great--I love her The Great Peace March book and music, and when I taught I read it to my Kindergarten students each year. The art work is also wonderful
my favourite song ..
There was a fifth voice!
I haven't heard this song since I was a very little girl. Pete sang it at a concert in San Francisco. I was 6. I never learned it, but I am so happy to see it here. So at age 82 I can learn it. Oakland CA 2022
Molt: And the birds eat the grasshoppers!
Aw come on! It’s a great story!

This song is the soundtrack to my burgeoning young adulthood. It is the background to all my romantic young ideals that mostly never came to fruition. It said all the things I wanted my life to be about and represent. Thank you MCC for sharing your most wonderful gift. I truly don't know where or who I would be without all your songs to be my sing along therapy while driving many country roads. Many blessings to you! ❤
Hopper's death scene.... without the dramatic music and sound effects.
Jajaja
To see these four artists live in concert was amazing. One performance that I will not forget. The story Ms MCC tells here comes full circle in May 2021 presenting Ms Baez in song into the Kennedy Center Honors 🎖 with Ms Emmylou Harris. Ms MCC's voice on this song has hit a beautiful richness 30+ yrs later. Quite an instrument that takes discipline to maintain 👌 🙏 🇨🇦
@Sharon Vyse. Hi Sharon - again from Cape Town, South Africa. This is such an unforgettable performance, and, indeed, part of an unbroken circle completed with the Kennedy Cntr Honors 2021. May both these MOST amazing artists inspire us for many years to come, be it by music, or by visual arts. Be well, and stay safe, Sharon. 😷😷😷
@@ursulamulder110 good evening, if not good monday morning Ursula. Just a quick note to say Ms Carpenter concert in a small town of Upstate NY a couple of hours south east of " Buffalo" where she sings of in this song, was so very life-giving. Her band and supporting performer, young Caroline Spence stayed just down the hall in my motel. I spoke with Caroline running into her in the hallway a few hours before the show as they came late having a bus breakdown. Their equipment bus. I believe I came across theirs on the main 1-90 into Geneva for the same colored beige brown bus had MCC1 on the back. Funny enough I checked out early the next morn and there they all were checking out too and waiting to get back on at least one of the buses to get to a huge outdoor venue that evening. Very fortunate to have 3 rd row seating. The best ever in my 30 years of seeing her in theater and concert halls but for up in my hometown years back at our Mariposa folk festival . The entire 3 hrs was uplifting and filled my heart ad this pandemic has taken a toll on my faith in humankind and state of affairs. Both artists have and exude goodness, and it showed. Her new band is made up of highly professional talented musicians. All but one gentleman, her base guitarist now for her backup.hope you are keeping well!!
@Sharon Vyse Apologies for delayed reaction, Sharon. I am immeasurably happy that you could attend live show(s). Super!! 😊😊
@@ursulamulder110 not ever worry about having to reply nor how long in doing so. Just a few lines over land and sea to say hello and hope that you are well. Take care. 🇨🇦 🍁
@ Sharon Vyse - Many thanks, Sharon. Would that the political noise over here were a little less deafening!! And I hope that the cyclones/storms spare your area! Better to focus on MCC's music - I repeat: I am thrilled that you could experience the live show, and were fortunate enough to meet with team members in the same motel!! What a lovely happenstance!! Be well and have a relaxing weekend.
Pardon. J’arrête, t’es juste tombée sur MON morceau. Je d Sors, mais écoute avant. A +

Glad this was in my reccomend
Song written by Dylan about breaking up with Joan. Her response was Diamonds and Rust.
Thank
Another heartbreaking song that is so beautiful that it makes you smile regardless
Don't Think Twice is for Suze Rotolo, the "girl on the album cover' who died in 2011. She herself rather obliquely claimed the song in her memoir, A Freewheeling Time, when she writes of the neighbors' roosters that always "crowed at the break of dawn" as she & Bobby returned to their Greenwich Village apartment after long nights of club hopping.
What happened to Mary?
How the fuck are you getting enjoyment out of this?? You weird bitch!!!

Angry Birds eat grasshoppers.
I had tickets to Raleigh NC show. Cancelled because of hurricane. Never been so disappointed!
"Oooooohhhh yeaaaaah bite the head off"
This was such a great concert!
That mandolin sounds pretty good
Mary Chapin Carpenter is so dang wonderful. I played her cassettes over and over back in my early 20's, smoking cigarettes and cruising down the highway.
I wasn't ever a smoker but cassettes turned to cds for me and always purchased two because roads so bad they got so they would skip. Awful upset at that funny enough. Still purchase 2 copies. Lol. Have listened to Ms. Carpenter since her first record release and been so lucky to catch her on 4 rare times in Ontario 🇨🇦 --once on her own, and at a folk festival, and 4 voices in Toronto, and once with Ms Colvin then once upstate new York at 4 voices tour. Funny enough, I am not a concert goer so it takes amazing artists to get me out. Quite a talented and true humane being she is.
Would have been nice to have seen and heard Mary take lead on a verse as the others did.
when I read this comment I nearly did not listen they did the same in the night the drove old dixie,
Yeah, I wonder why she hung back, hardly even sang harmonies.
She leads on this one: ua-cam.com/video/2WHcYr-XcYk/v-deo.html
